These round tables will conclude with the production of a position paper and a protest stand in order to deliver it to the prime minister. Mr. Ahmed Abu Ayyash welcomed those present and explained the importance of achieving an integrated role between the arms of justice in order to safeguard the legal rights of children subjected to sexual assault. Mr. Ahmed Shaghnoubi, the project's lawyer and supervisor of the round tables, then raised a number of points requiring discussion, through which many recommendations agreed by all those present were reached. \u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\" lang=\"AR-JO\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"RTL\"><span lang=\"AR-SA\">These round tables aim to provide a protective legal environment for children against sexual exploitation. The discussion centred on the steps, stages and procedures through which criminal proceedings concerning sexual assault on children pass, and on the mechanism followed by the arms of justice to reach a conviction of the offender and impose a deterrent penalty on them within a short time frame.<\/span><span lang=\"AR-JO\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"RTL\"><span lang=\"AR-SA\">All those present, titles duly reserved, stressed the importance and sensitivity of the subject and their pivotal role in these cases, and the need for such sessions in order to reach the justice sought with the effectiveness the law provides for.
