During the visit the main stages the project passed through in 2014 were reviewed, and its strengths and weaknesses and the main lessons learned were discussed.<\/p>\n<p>The visit also introduced the activities of the Beita Cooperative Society, a leader in making and marketing soap across the country, and of the Beit Furik Society, which is now reshaping its work through food processing.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the visits, project coordinator Walaa Salahat stressed the interactive and community role of grassroots organisations in society, given that they are the closest to their communities and the nucleus that brings them together.
