This year it was held under the title \"Protection, Freedom, Dignity\", the slogan agreed among the women's organisations and coalitions working in Palestine.<\/p>\n<p>The projects director at the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution opened the ceremony, welcoming the women and children and stressing that this was a day of recreation, and that this year's celebration comes in a different form, particularly since it follows the assault on Gaza and the destruction it brought on people, trees and stone.
