The Centre is organising a number of activities, among them two sports marathons, open festivals and mural painting, with the participation of more than 1,000 boys and girls in all the governorates of the Strip and with organisations and the media attending.<\/p>\n<p>In the first day's events, 100 children took part in the Freedom sports marathon, which set off from the Katiba area west of Gaza City towards the Unknown Soldier, with first place won by the child Mohammed Rajab in the presence of 200 children.<\/p>\n<p>In the Centre's address, the director of the Palestinian Center for Conflict Resolution branch, Eng. Iyad Abu Hjair, called for full protection to be provided to the children of Palestine and for pressure to break the unjust siege and to give children in Palestine their rights and fulfil their dreams.
