Her remarks came while she was taking part today in the course on developing the administrative and legal skills of women community activists, the women mukhtars, with the participation of 18 women mukhtars in the training hall at the Valencia restaurant in Gaza City, comprising 24 training hours.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the projects coordinator at the Palestinian Center for Conflict Resolution, Abdel Moneim Al-Tahrawi, pointed out that the legal information, counselling and services project (ICLA) focuses in this training on refining the administrative and legal skills of the women mukhtars on the Centre's social team, adding: \"Attention is turning to the problems and crises the women mukhtars address in resolving disputes over land and property in the areas of the Gaza Strip, and there is an urgent need to develop their counselling and educational performance within society.\"<\/p>\n<p>Al-Tahrawi explained that the training material during the course focuses on strengthening communication and outreach skills and self-assertion skills among the women mukhtars, in addition to skills in facilitating dialogue and matters of personal status and family disputes.
