In a first step of its kind within the framework of communication and developing relations, Ashraf Abu Nada, member of the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution from the Gaza Strip, visited the premises of the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution in the West Bank, Nablus branch.<\/p>\n
Abu Nada was received by the director of the Palestinian Center's Nablus branch, Ahmed Abu Ayyash, and a number of the Centre's staff,
\nThe member of the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution who had come from Gaza was taken on a field tour of the Centre's departments in the city of Nablus, and Abu Nada expressed his admiration for the system in place, noting the continuous effort the Centre makes to provide psychological and social services by varied means.<\/p>\n
Ahmed Abu Ayyash spoke about the projects carried out at the Centre and the groups benefiting from them, particularly those shared between the Centre's branches in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as projects run separately in the West Bank and others in Gaza. The Nablus branch director also addressed the difficulties and challenges facing the Palestinian Center and the ways of overcoming them, until it reached the success and progress it enjoys today. New issues of concern to citizens and the ways of communicating with donors were also discussed.<\/p>\n
In the same context, Ashraf Abu Nada set out the major role played by the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution through its branches extending from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank, and the varied services provided to the different groups in society.<\/p>\n
The director of the Palestinian Center, Ahmed Abu Ayyash, closed the meeting by expressing his thanks and gratitude for this visit bringing together the two parts of the homeland.
