director general of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Awni Abu Herbid, to discuss ways of activating joint cooperation between the Centre and the Al-Rabee institution for the care of juveniles.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the project coordinator, lawyer Ahmed Al-Masri, said this meeting aims to inform the Ministry of Social Affairs about the project's activities concerning juveniles, funded by Terre des hommes Switzerland, adding: \"The project will include a series of trainings to re-qualify the staff working in the field of juveniles and the formation of a social committee to intervene in resolving outstanding juvenile cases that need social intervention.\"<\/p>\n<p>Al-Masri said the team will prepare a study devoted to juvenile justice and the procedures followed with juveniles and the extent to which the law addresses them.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Abu Herbid expressed the ministry's readiness to cooperate on the basis of previous experience with the Palestinian Center on several projects, considering the Centre one of the most important national centres concerned with the care of juveniles and the provision of services to
