\nThe Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, in cooperation with the MA'AN Development Centre and the Tamer Institute for Community Education, with funding from UNICEF, held a training day for the Talae'a on the characteristics and problems of adolescence, the psychological and social changes that affect an adolescent at that stage, and how to deal with the problems.
\nAround 50 boys and girls of the Talae'a aged between 14 and 17, from the various family centres spread across the Gaza Strip, took part in the training day.
\nDina Al-Anqar, coordinator of the child protection teams project at the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution and head of the family centres' programmes across all the governorates of the Gaza Strip, said the training focuses on the young Talae'a group, on whom the aspirations of future development and change for the better are built.
\nOn the basic aim of the training, the programme coordinator answered that the positive influence of the participating Talae'a in their communities is the goal the training day seeks to achieve, so that the participants can train their peers among the Talae'a and help them with ways of resolving their problems, in addition to exchanging expertise and knowledge among themselves.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
