The training course, organised over 25 training hours across four consecutive days, addressed four topics: the first and second, \"Conflict and crisis management skills\" and \"Frameworks of alternative dispute resolution\", presented by Abdel Moneim Al-Tahrawi, the project coordinator; the third, \"Mechanisms of intervention, mediation and arbitration\", presented by Younis Al-Tahrawi, the project's lawyer; and the fourth, \"Analysing problems and preparing an intervention plan\", presented by the project's psychologist, Raeda Wishah.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the coordinator of the project \"Towards a society free of violence\", Abdel Moneim Al-Tahrawi, pointed out that the training aimed in general to create a safe environment free of violence, in addition to enabling the participants to manage crises and conflicts and resolve internal and external disputes, to recognise their sources, to raise their skills in the ways and methods of dealing with crises and conflicts, and to perceive their early signs before they arise and work to resolve them before they escalate.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution is the only centre in the Gaza Strip that delivers training in mediation and arbitration.
