He explained that the Centre has seen at close hand the course of the tragic conditions after the assault and is providing social and psychological services to the wounded and to the owners of destroyed homes in a number of governorates.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>For his part, the coordinator of the child protection teams in the North governorate, Rabie Hamouda, pointed out that the last assault left four children dead and more than twenty-five children wounded, in addition to the shelling of dozens of homes that were totally or partially destroyed. He added: \"The child protection teams' volunteers helped families to bring out furniture and personal belongings from beneath the destroyed homes, as well as providing psychological and social support to a number of families in the North governorate.\"<\/p>\n<p>Hamouda explained that a delegation of the team's volunteers visited a number of wounded children at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip to learn about their health and psychological conditions after they were targeted during the last shelling of their homes and schools.
