Through those groups, comprehensive psychological support was provided to children who suffer from certain psychological problems, some of their behavioural problems were addressed, and an attempt was made to help them rid themselves of the anxiety, tension and fear sometimes arising from the pressures they are exposed to in their daily lives. In addition, 70 educational groups were held for parents, reaching 1,050 fathers and mothers, on how to deal with their children, help them solve their problems, and provide means of protection for themselves and their children. It is worth noting that the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution opened 50 educational centres at the end of last August, distributed across every governorate of the Gaza Strip, targeting 3,000 children who are in need of educational support and whose academic level is below average.
