Many towns and villages were reached, such as Qaryut, Jurish and Al-Naqoura in the city of Nablus, the Abasan Al-Kabira area in Khan Younis, Deir Al-Balah and Bureij in the Middle governorate, and Al-Shujaiya in Gaza City. These workshops centred on discussing the issue of violence against women, women and the law, family violence, psychological release, and the methods of protecting women from violence. Some of the women spoke about their experiences with their husbands, and these workshops produced some recommendations, the most important of them being: continuing to hold such workshops, addressing women's issues, and making women aware of violence and its forms and of the importance of women's rights.
