This training comes within the events of the project \"Protecting the rights of Palestinian children affected by armed conflict through community-based mechanisms in the Gaza Strip\", funded by the European Union. Ali Nasman, the project coordinator, stated that the aim of this training is to develop the counsellors' capacities in dealing with children and to train them in case management, children's speech problems and post-traumatic disorders, in addition to communication skills, the activities that can be used with children, and training on forms for counselling documentation. He also noted that a training course was held last week for teachers with the aim of developing their capacities in dealing with children, keeping up with the latest new teaching aids, enriching the teachers with new information, and training them in using educational games so as to enable them to deal with children by the scientific method and modern educational approaches.
