The most prominent of what the training included were the strands of psychological counselling skills for children, behaviour modification skills, family counselling, psychological trauma and post-traumatic symptoms, how to intervene psychologically after crises, communication skills, the games and activities that can be used with children after crises, in addition to preparing and writing the psychological report and training on forms for counselling documentation. Mr. Saed Al-Sarsawi, the training coordinator, stated that students of social work and psychological counselling were targeted, where the students are trained and qualified over two stages: the first theoretical, through training on the strands mentioned above, and the second practical and applied, through fieldwork, carrying out workshops and meetings with families, and working individually through training with cases of children, with individual supervision for each trainee by the Centre.
