Let's Be Happy\" summer camp for children with disabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><span style=\"color: #333300;\">On Sunday 17\/7\/2016, at the Dolphin Resort, the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, in partnership with Save the Children, opened the summer camp \"Let's Play... Let's Be Happy\", which aims to improve access to protection and health services for children with disabilities in the Gaza Strip. The camp targets six areas across the Strip that are considered among the most fragile.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #333300;\">It is worth noting that the number of<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"> participants in the camp is 165 boys and girls with disabilities and 135 boys and girls without disabilities, aged between 9 and 14, and that it will run for a full month. This camp is one of the most distinctive summer camps this year, with varied corners and recreational and sporting sessions. It has adopted a set of purposeful corners such as the cultural corner, the sports corner, folk arts, and the art and music corner.<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<h5><span style=\"color: #333300;\">The aim is to strengthen active participation and development and to reintegrate this group into society, to give children with disabilities the chance to engage in ordinary life, and to give children without disabilities the chance to get to know children with disabilities closely, appreciate their difficulties and help them meet life's demands.
