\nThe responsibilities and contributions set out in the agreement are as follows:
\nProviding technical knowledge, expertise, skills and logistical support throughout the project's implementation stages.
\nIdentifying local and, where possible, international experts to train the elected youth council on how to work across a range of subjects such as understanding municipal work, lobbying and advocacy, political participation and other topics.
\nCarrying out an evaluation of the project and sharing lessons learned with partners one year after the council's formation.
\nProviding operating costs for the council, such as transport, communications and stationery.
\nProviding a focal point to liaise with the municipality's management, acting as a link between the youth council and the municipal board.
\nAllocating appropriate resources to strengthen the work of the youth council in the municipality, including the following:
\nAn equipped headquarters or office for the council.
\nA suitable place for the council inside or outside the municipality building, providing an opportunity for young people to meet at all times, including after the municipality's working hours and at weekends.
\nIncluding a budget line for youth activities.
\nInvolving young people and taking them into account in decision-making in line with the law.<\/p>\n
