Gaza's children rise up against sexual harassment

Hundreds of children are subjected to sexual harassment in Gaza, according to the statistics of the official psychological institutions in the Strip, which calls for attention to be given to putting in place special programmes to help these children. Childhood and protection are two words not connected to one another in Gaza: Israel violates children's rights systematically and deliberately, but the dangers are not always tied to the Israeli factor, and the internal dangers appear very great too. The Palestinian Center for Conflict Resolution is working to address this problem and to put in place a programme of its own.
