The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution concludes a training course in psychological first aid

On Thursday 28 April 2016 the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution concluded a training course in psychological first aid, comprising 12 training hours over three days, for 25 social workers and psychologists working on the emergency team, within the project for psychosocial support for children affected by conflict and social violence, in partnership with Save the Children International.
The course covered a range of topics on the concept of psychological first aid, psychological intervention with children during emergencies, improving the team's skills in carrying out emergency visits, psychosocial support sessions for children and parents, and handling individual counselling cases.
