Work begins on the counselling points programme at the Centre's Nablus branch
Based on the vision of the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution of the reality of the Palestinian people and the difficult political and economic circumstances they live in, the Centre was keen to deliver its services to all those in need of them in the areas where they live, through carrying out the counselling points programme, which represents one of the activities of the project for supporting and empowering women victims of violence
It aims at delivering advice and counselling, psychological, social and legal services to the cases and women in need of the service, through the presence of professionally capable female psychologists to work in the areas where they live, in cooperation with the village councils and the women's centres, by determining the needs of the areas.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of April the Centre has been applying the programme on the ground, where it has targeted many villages, among them (Qusin, Aqraba, Huwara, Jamain, Wadi Al-Faria), where the specialists are present in these areas two days a week to deliver our services to everyone, because of their inability to come to the Centre for several reasons, among them economic, social and political.
