Conflict Resolution elects its new board

The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution elected its new board during its ordinary meeting at the Centre's main premises in Gaza City, attended by the majority of the members of the general assembly,
together with the Centre's lawyer, representatives of the Ministry of National Economy and the external auditor, as a delegate of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh company, to present and explain the financial report for 2012.

Once the legal quorum was met and the annual financial and administrative report for 2012 and the budget for 2013 had been discussed and approved, the external auditor of the Centre's accounts for 2013 was appointed, on the basis of the members' choice after inviting price quotations.

After the administrative and financial reports were discussed and approved, the board submitted its resignation before the members, and Khaled Zeidan was appointed to chair the session for the election of a new board. He confirmed that the meeting had a quorum, with the majority of the members present, and nominations were therefore opened. Five members came forward, and Dr. Nahed Eid took the post of chair, with the other members to be assigned to the Centre's various posts later.
