Activity-leading courses in the project "Our children are our hopes"

The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution held a series of activity-leading courses within the events of the project "Our children are our hopes", funded by USAID and IRD in partnership with World Vision, in the training halls in the Rafah and North areas from the ninth of this month until 26/1/2011. This step comes to develop the capacities of 20 activity leaders working on the project, using new means and methods for dealing with children. The course focused on the following strands: • How to deal with children. • The behavioural problems activity leaders face with children. • Learning new skills and methods of activity leading. It is noted that this project began on the twenty-eighth of February last year and continues until 28/2/2011. The project aims at providing psychological and educational support to the children of the North and Rafah areas by modern and effective means.
