Her childhood did not save her from being killed!!!

A new victim, not yet past "19" years, is added to the women victims killed on what is called the family's honour. A resident of Al-Shati camp, she was killed at the hands of her brother on the morning of Monday 9/4/2007.
Under the cover of defending the family's honour, the perpetrator carried out his abhorrent act by firing a shot at his sister, blowing up her head, without any mercy for that girl who fell victim to worn-out, merciless customs and traditions that made violence and killing a means of confronting women.
The investigations of the rights centres confirmed that at around 1:00 on the dawn of Thursday 12/4/2007, the medical sources at Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza city announced the death of the victim, 19 years old, a resident of Al-Shati camp west of Gaza city, from the serious wounds she had suffered.
Our victim had been hit by a shot to the head at around 10:15 on the morning of Monday 9/4/2007. According to the investigations of the Al-Shati police station, her brother fired at her on the grounds of what are called honour cases.
And this victim, who had only just begun the stage of youth, paid with her life the price of worn-out customs and traditions that increase the woman's suffering and contribute to taking her life and killing her without mercy under a law that, if the expression is permitted, is absent.
