Conflict Resolution Center holds a workshop entitled "The value of tolerance and its effect in ending the state of division"

Gaza: the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution held a workshop in the conference hall at Al-Azhar University in Gaza entitled "The value of tolerance and its effect in ending the state of division", within the events of the project "Women for civil peace" in the framework of the popular campaign for national reconciliation. The workshop was held in the presence of Dr. Imad Hamtou from Al-Azhar University and Dr. Abdel Salam Al-Louh from the Islamic University, along with a number of male and female participants among the university's students. Maysa Fateeha, a member of the project's student leadership team, stated that many questions were put to the guests about the role of Palestinian women in instilling the values of tolerance and love within the Palestinian family, and about affirming women's role in the process of sound social upbringing built on high moral values and principles that call for rejecting party fanaticism. At the end of the workshop the floor was opened for discussion among the participants, where the role of Palestinian students inside the Palestinian universities and the importance of their role within Palestinian society were stressed. There was also discussion of the roles that can contribute to ending the state of division and to spreading awareness and tolerance among the members of society.
