Conflict Resolution Center holds a workshop in the town of Idhna in Hebron

Hebron: the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution today held a workshop in the town of Idhna in Hebron governorate, within the project "Women for civil peace" in the framework of the popular campaign for national reconciliation. Mohammed Al-Bo, the project coordinator, stated that the aim of this workshop is to strengthen the foundations of social peace in order to reach a state in which tolerance and affection prevail among the various groups of society, and to make citizens aware of the importance of civil peace and national reconciliation. Al-Bo also stated that the concepts relating to civil peace and the role individuals and political parties play in the process of strengthening civil peace were discussed and explained. At the end of the workshop the floor was opened for discussion and interventions among the women taking part in this workshop, where the political situation of the past period was addressed, in addition to discussing some solutions that could be taken into account in order to reach social peace and end the state of division among the shades of society.
