Conflict Resolution Center holds a training course in advanced skills for lawyers

On Sunday the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, held a training course at the Centre's premises for trainee lawyers and law graduates entitled "Advanced skills for lawyers", as part of the activities of the project "Towards a more responsive justice system in the Gaza Strip (Istijaba)".
The course aims to develop the participants' capacities and skills in the topics set out in its training programme, and will run for five consecutive days, from 22/2/2015 to 26/2/2015.
The first day is due to cover skills in running awareness meetings, workshops and round tables; the second facilitation skills; the third presentation and pleading skills; the fourth skills in organising mobilisation and advocacy campaigns; and the fifth and final day the justice system in the Gaza Strip.
It is worth noting that at the end of the training course five of the participants will be selected to work in legal education for different groups in Palestinian society.
