Conflict Resolution Center holds educational workshops targeting various groups in society

In the framework of carrying out the activities of the project "Towards a more responsive justice system in the Gaza Strip: Istijaba", funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, legal unit, has held educational workshops to raise awareness among the target groups of their rights and of the public freedoms every Palestinian citizen enjoys.

These workshops will target various groups in society, among them inmates in correction and rehabilitation centres, with awareness subjects on the law of penal procedure and the law on correction and rehabilitation centres; people whose homes were destroyed in the last Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip; and people living in remote areas adjacent to the border.

It is planned to carry out 50 groups from the categories mentioned, where each group is given education over 3 days by qualified educators trained in the skills of running awareness sessions and facilitation.
