A study on the difficulty of the Palestinian curriculum

Description : This study aimed to identify the main ways in which the Palestinian curriculum is difficult, and to determine the most difficult subjects and the reasons behind that difficulty, from the point of view of three groups: 1. pupils, 2. teachers and supervisors, 3. parents. The study sample comprised 3,636 pupils in grades four to twelve enrolled in the 2009-2010 school year in UNRWA and government schools, as well as 793 teachers and supervisors and 750 parents across all the governorates of the Gaza Strip. The pupil sample was selected by systematic random sampling, while the teacher and parent samples were selected at random. The research team adopted a descriptive approach in presenting the study's results.
