Conflict Resolution Center visits the wounded and families after the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip

For his part, the coordinator of the child protection teams in the North governorate, Rabie Hamouda, pointed out that the last assault left four children dead and more than twenty-five children wounded, in addition to the shelling of dozens of homes that were totally or partially destroyed. He added: "The child protection teams' volunteers helped families to bring out furniture and personal belongings from beneath the destroyed homes, as well as providing psychological and social support to a number of families in the North governorate."

Hamouda explained that a delegation of the team's volunteers visited a number of wounded children at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip to learn about their health and psychological conditions after they were targeted during the last shelling of their homes and schools. He stressed that the visits included checking on the health of a number of children of the Sukkar family and visiting them at their home after they were injured in the Israeli assault against innocent civilians.

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation launched a wide military operation against the Palestinian people from last Friday, leaving more than twenty-five people dead and around eighty wounded in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
