The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution holds a meeting with the child protection network

The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution held a meeting for the members of the child protection network, and this meeting was an internal review of the basic rules the network works by. Some important subjects were discussed, such as the network's implementation plan, the main achievements it has made, the mechanisms of coordination, monitoring and follow-up, and how to set up a system for documenting the work it carries out. At the end of the session, some recommendations were reached which the members set out, the most important of them being: the need for a clear agenda for the network's work; the existence of a structure for the work and for influencing policies and improving procedures; the existence of an internal administrative system governing the network's work and the members' commitment; high-level coordination regarding case referral; expanding the work to include children's rights; unifying the network so that it becomes a single network; working on writing a new vision for the network's work; and establishing unified sources for the network. In line with the recommendations agreed upon, the members agreed on the need to continue and to stay in contact in order to set a clear plan to be carried out soon.
