Awareness and education

Many are the cases our women in Palestine are exposed to, and many are the calls and cries of some women who have found themselves victims of criminals they had believed were their first line of defence. Here arose the need to make women aware and to educate them about all the forms of violence they are subjected to, and this is what Mrs. Umm Ahmed said at the end of one of the workshops: "May God reward you, my daughter. You have told us things we did not know. God bless you, we want to know more. Do such things really exist in this world?"
A total of 240 workshops were held in the governorates of the West Bank and the Strip within the events of the project for supporting and empowering women victims of violence, which come to make women aware and to educate them about the issues concerning them and to provide them with the necessary guidance.
