Conclusion of a training course on concepts of disability and related issues

On Wednesday 1 June 2016, the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution concluded a training course on "Strengthening the skills and knowledge of summer camp activity leaders regarding concepts of disability and related issues, and how to run summer camp activities for children with disabilities", comprising 5 training hours over four days, for 18 social workers, within the project "Improving access to protection and health services for children with disabilities in the Gaza Strip", implemented by Handicap International. The project aims to provide various types of services and care to children with disabilities in a mainstream environment, contributing to improved psychological resilience among children and their families in the target areas and meeting their needs, particularly those affected by psychosocial violence in the Gaza Strip.
