Within the activities of the project "Empowering citizens through institutionalising social accountability in local government"

The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, in partnership with the Life and Hope Association and the Bunyan Association for Training, Evaluation and Community Studies, concluded a six-day training course in facilitation and social accountability targeting a group of staff from Gaza Strip municipalities, with support from German development cooperation (GIZ) and funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The training is part of a range of activities to be delivered over the coming year, aimed at strengthening social accountability in municipalities on the one hand and building the capacity of municipal staff in dealing with the public on the other.
