Conflict Resolution Center holds a graduation for the students of the course on the rules of local and international arbitration procedure

On Tuesday the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution (legal unit) held a graduation for the students of the course on the rules of local and international arbitration procedure at the Islamic University, held in coordination with the Sharia and Law Club at the university.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Iyad Abu Hjair, director of the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, Mr. Younis Al-Tahrawi, head of the legal unit, Mr. Mohammed Attallah, lawyer at the Conflict Resolution Center, Dr. Khaled Sleibi, and Mr. Yasser Al-Ajrami, head of the Sharia and Law Club.

The course covered the rules of arbitration procedure and Palestinian legislation over twenty training hours, delivered by Mr. Mohammed Attallah, with 40 students from the university's Faculty of Sharia and Law taking part; their certificates were handed out at the end of the ceremony.

In his address, Mr. Iyad Abu Hjair praised the club's efforts and cooperation and thanked the students and the trainer for their attendance and commitment to the course, expressing the Centre's readiness to hold more courses on this subject or on other subjects of interest to students.

Dr. Khaled Sleibi praised the efforts made by the legal unit at the Conflict Resolution Center in delivering extracurricular activities at the university and the close relationship between the Centre and the university, and called for more such courses and others to be held in order to develop students' capacities in practical legal work.
