Graduation ceremony for the students of the introductory course on the rules of local and international arbitration

On Wednesday the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution (legal unit) held a ceremony at the Bar Association for the graduation of the students of the introductory course on the rules of local and international arbitration, attended by the secretary of the Bar Association, Ziad Al-Najjar, the head of the legal unit, Younis Al-Tahrawi, and the trainer Mohammed Attallah. These students come from all the Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip.

The course covered arbitration procedure and the preparation of a legal arbitrator, and ran for 20 training hours from 7/12/2014 to 14/12/2014.

Younis Al-Tahrawi praised the students' punctuality and the large turnout for courses of this kind, noting that the Centre is fully ready to deliver such courses throughout the year and that it seeks to root the idea of resolving disputes by alternative means. He indicated that the coming period will see an intensification of training and legal work.

At the end of the ceremony certificates were handed out to the graduates of the course, and an atmosphere of happiness prevailed at the graduation of this large number of law students from the various Palestinian universities in the Strip.
