He killed them without mercy and his punishment is only a few months...

Here in the middle of the Gaza Strip its tragic events took place, when a young man fled from prison to kill his three sisters on the pretext of preserving "the family's honour". The details of our story begin on the morning of 21/7/2007, when a young man and his cousin killed three of his sisters, one of them married, by stabbing with a sharp instrument and by strangling, after taking them to an unknown place.
After his act, that brother tried to bury them in the earth, but residents near the place saw the incident and informed the security force (Gaza police), which announced two days later that it had arrested the young man, explaining that he confessed during the investigation that what drove him to kill his sisters was defending the family's honour. Their bodies were found thrown in the martyrs' cemetery of Wadi Al-Salqa, east of the city of Deir Al-Balah, in the middle of the Gaza Strip.
Justifications are no doubt advanced before the perpetrator, "the criminal", is taken to prison to receive his punishment, for the same perpetrator, a year before killing his sisters, killed the girls' mother. Four women had fled from their relatives from Al-Shati camp west of Gaza city and lived in the Bedouin village north of the Gaza Strip, away from their relatives and fleeing a fate they knew was inevitable. After this incident the girls fled.
And the great question that needs an answer remains: how could a young man who was convicted three years earlier, together with a group of young men, of committing killings, the last of them the killing of an under-age girl of 16 after they had raped her in a remote area north of the Strip, for which one of the Palestinian courts, after convicting these perpetrators, sentenced them to death, flee from his prison in Gaza city during the period of internal fighting in mid-June of the same year without being returned to prison?!
