Preliminary visits to the partner organisations

As a preliminary step towards beginning to carry out the activation and education groups in the field, the project coordinator, engineer Najat Al-Jubeiri, together with the project team, made preliminary visits to 20 partner organisations, in order to discuss the dates for carrying out the activities with each organisation and to inspect the place where the activities will be carried out, in addition to discussing the working mechanisms and the tasks assigned to the organisations. The activities the project will carry out were addressed, among them forming 20 follow-up committees inside the partner associations, as one of the modern practical methods for studying and following up cases, in order to reach the best solutions for providing psychosocial and legal support services to children. Then the forming of case management committees was also addressed, for effective assistance in the many cases that call for the intervention of parties other than the Centre, where it is proposed that these teams be formed of a number of specialists, such as a doctor, a lawyer, a school principal, a religious figure and influential public figures.
At the end, the representatives of the partner associations were listened to regarding their views and criticisms, where everyone stressed the importance of this project, since it aims at protecting children from one of the greatest dangers threatening their physical and psychological safety, whose negative effects can extend to other stages of children's lives.
