The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution has published a new training reference entitled 'Community Mediation Guide for Activists and Popular Committees in Palestinian Camps', authored by Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Abu Ayesh. The guide serves as a practical roadmap aimed at equipping activists and members of local committees with the tools of conflict resolution and building social peace inside the camps.
Across its fifteen chapters, the guide covers integrated methodologies that combine theoretical grounding with practical application, addressing key pillars such as mediator skills, gender sensitivity and strategies for analysing complex conflicts. The publication seeks to entrench a culture of dialogue as an effective alternative for resolving disputes, thereby strengthening social cohesion and protecting the national fabric in light of the challenges facing Palestinian camps..”
