The Centre receives the members of the parliament of Jabalia joint primary school A

The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution this morning received the parliament pupils of Jabalia joint primary school A, headed by the parliament's rapporteur, Ms. Razan Matar, and the human rights teacher, Ms. Sabreen Hamid. Mr. Saed Al-Sarsawi and Ms. Dina Al-Anqar welcomed the pupils, who numbered 20. During this visit one of the pupils, a leader, spoke on behalf of the parliament, setting out the parliament's role at the school and the purpose of visiting the Centre, which comes within their interest in the field of democracy and projects for protecting children's rights. Dina Al-Anqar, coordinator of the child protection teams project, Gaza branch, stated that the pupils were introduced to the Centre and its objectives and programmes, setting out the various activities and events of the child protection teams project and the psychological and social support services it provides to children, in addition to intervention at times of emergency and crisis. Mr. Saed Al-Sarsawi also explained that the pupils were given guidance on how to resolve disputes among themselves and were acquainted with the services of the child protection teams. At the end of the visit there were several interventions and questions from the pupils, where most of the questions were about how to help their low-attaining classmates, how to resolve disputes among quarrelling pupils at the school, and how to act at times of crisis and war.
